Today we woke up early because we were supposed to go to the funfair with some of Mateo's friends. Although we arrived on time, it was difficult to find them because the market was huge. In the end, we walked around the stalls and rode the bumper cars, which was a lot of fun. Afterwards, we went to Siam Street, which is full of shops, and had lunch at McDonald's. Later, we went back to the funfair, rode several rides and had a great time. At the end of the day, we were exhausted, but we really enjoyed the day.
In the morning, we went with Matéo's mother to the market to buy ingredients for the meal with their family. After shopping, we went back home, where we met up with his sister Rose and her boyfriend to cook. Later, more family members arrived and we all ate together. After lunch, we played a board game called Mysterium for a while. In the afternoon, we accompanied Matéo's mother to a small nearby village, Plougastel-Daoulas, where she had to cut a friend's hair, because she is a hair stylist. In the meantime, we took a walk around the area, which is very green and beautiful, as is typical in this region.
Monday started with French class, where we looked at the poem "Je vis, je meurs" by Louise Labé and solved some exercises. Then, in English, we talked about the importance of learning the language. After the first break, we had Maths, where we solved equations. While my classmates were taking a Physics and Chemistry exam, I took the opportunity to write on the blog. Later we had lunch and then we had SES (Economic and Social Sciences), where we discussed the role of the family in socialization and the biological and social differences between human beings.
