Before I knew it, Friday, October 18th, had arrived—the last day of our journey. After saying our goodbyes at school, we packed up and headed back to Madrid. We arrived in the city around 6 PM and took some time to explore its lively streets. Even though it was a short visit, it felt nice to end the trip in such a vibrant place. Walking around Madrid, I couldn’t help but reflect on everything that had happened over the past weeks. It was a bittersweet moment—on one hand, I was sad to leave behind the amazing people, places, and experiences; but on the other hand, I felt excited to go home and see my family and friends again. This Erasmus trip was more than just a journey—it was an adventure filled with unforgettable moments. From the breathtaking sights to the laughs we shared, it’s a chapter in my life that I’ll always treasure. I’m so grateful for every person and every memory that made it so special. Here's a picture of the sunrise when we were going to the airport and another ...

The week went by faster than I could have imagined. Most of my time was spent at school, where I focused on getting to know my French classmates better. With my friends from Alcoy already back in Spain, I decided to make the most of every moment here and truly immerse myself in the experience. One of the highlights of the week was Tuesday, October 15th, when we celebrated “Pink October” at school to raise awareness about breast cancer. Everyone wore pink, and since I didn’t bring anything pink with me, Mateo kindly lent me one of his shirts. It was so nice to see the whole school coming together to support such an important cause. The shades of pink everywhere added such a cheerful and united feeling to the day. Here's a photo I took with my classmates:

Sunday, October 13th, was one of the best days of the trip. Mateo, his older sister, her little kid, and I went to Pointe Saint-Mathieu, a place that looked like it came straight out of a postcard. There were high cliffs, an old lighthouse standing tall against the sky, and the ocean stretching endlessly into the horizon. We spent the day exploring, starting with some ancient abbey ruins that were full of history and charm. After that, we walked along the coastline, feeling the sea breeze on our faces and listening to the waves crashing against the rocks below. The sound of the ocean was so peaceful that it made me feel completely relaxed. But it wasn’t just the views that made the day special. Being there reminded me of how lucky I was to be on this trip, experiencing something so unique. The beauty of the place, combined with the calmness of the moment, made it a memory I know I’ll always treasure.

October 11th

On the evening of October 11th, we went out for dinner at a lively and colorful place full of traditional food stalls. The whole area was buzzing with people, laughter, and the amazing smells of freshly made dishes filling the air. I decided to try as much as I could, starting with savory crêpes that were soft and delicious, followed by one of the best hamburgers I’ve ever had. Each bite was a new experience, and I couldn’t help but feel excited to be discovering French flavors. What made the evening even more special was the time we spent together. Sharing food is such a simple thing, but it has a way of making everyone feel closer. We laughed, talked about our plans, and really started to bond as a group. It was the perfect way to start our trip and get a taste of everything that was ahead of us.

This Wednesday, after our math, English and PE classes, where we did several athletics series, we finished a little earlier than usual like every Wednesday. When we got home, we had lunch and decided to take advantage of the afternoon to visit Les Capucins, a place in Brest with a lot of things to see. One of the first stops was the media library, which is huge and full of things to do. From books and televisions, to PlayStations and study areas, there is nothing missing.                                                     The most curious thing was seeing some pianos connected to headphones, where you can play without anyone else hearing what you are playing, which I found very original. After spending some time there, we went out to explore the place farther. We took a walk and found a maritime museum and a gigantic climbing center that caught my...

This Saturday we organized a sleepover to watch a horror movie. In the afternoon, we went to the supermarket with Mateo's mother to buy food, and when we returned, her friends were already bringing more things for the night. They arrived at 8, but one of the girls said she would be a little late, which gave us the perfect opportunity to play a prank on her. We hid, and when she finally arrived, we tried to scare her, although in the end she didn't get too scared. Once everyone was together, we prepared the food and among so many movies we decided to watch Annabelle. Although we were all ready to be scared, in the end the movie didn't turn out to be that scary, but rather a little disgusting in some parts. Despite that, we had a great time, laughing and commenting on the most funny scenes. After a very fun night, on Sunday morning Mateo's mother arrived, and we all ate together before the girls left. In the afternoon, we took the opportunity to watch another film and res...

Wednesday started with math class, where we solved some problems that were more complicated than expected, but I kinda understood them. Afterwards, we had English, where we worked with adjectives to describe different objects and people, which was quite useful. However, what I liked the most was the sports class, as we went back to the athletics track. We did a intense session of series: we ran 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500 meters. The teacher increased the speed up to 18km/h, as me and my classmate were running the times we were supposed to. My legs ended up exhausted, but at the same time I felt satisfied to have finished the training. After that class, we went to eat as usual in the school canteen, where we spent a good time talking and laughing with our classmates. In the afternoon, I didn't do much. I spent my time resting at home and finish some homework.  Thursday was a day of varied classes. We started with English again, where we continued to review adjectives and practice wi...
