8th - 10th Oct.

This Wednesday, after our math, English and PE classes, where we did several athletics series, we finished a little earlier than usual like every Wednesday. When we got home, we had lunch and decided to take advantage of the afternoon to visit Les Capucins, a place in Brest with a lot of things to see.
One of the first stops was the media library, which is huge and full of things to do. From books and televisions, to PlayStations and study areas, there is nothing missing.

The most curious thing was seeing some pianos connected to headphones, where you can play without anyone else hearing what you are playing, which I found very original. After spending some time there, we went out to explore the place farther.
We took a walk and found a maritime museum and a gigantic climbing center that caught my attention. We also saw a replica of an important ship in the history of Brest.

From Les Capucins, you could see the port.

We took the opportunity to visit the oldest street in the city, La Rue Saint-Malo. Brest was completely destroyed during World War II, so it was quickly rebuilt on the remains of the old city, which is why it does not have a historical centre. To get to this street, we had to go down some stairs, as it is in a low part of the modern city. Rue Saint-Malo is quiet and very pretty, so I took the opportunity to take photos.

After our visit, Mateo and I went to the hairdresser to get our hair cut. We decided to go to a very popular place among young people. The funny thing is that the hairdresser had been an apprentice to Mateo's mother, who taught him how to cut hair.
On Thursday we started classes an hour later, which allowed us to sleep a little longer. When we left home, we saw by a very beautiful sunrise. I continued to build bonds with the people in my class. Like every Thursday, at the last hour, I accompanied Mateo to his math class.
