2nd - 4th Oct.

Wednesday started with math class, where we solved some problems that were more complicated than expected, but I kinda understood them. Afterwards, we had English, where we worked with adjectives to describe different objects and people, which was quite useful. However, what I liked the most was the sports class, as we went back to the athletics track. We did a intense session of series: we ran 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500 meters. The teacher increased the speed up to 18km/h, as me and my classmate were running the times we were supposed to. My legs ended up exhausted, but at the same time I felt satisfied to have finished the training. After that class, we went to eat as usual in the school canteen, where we spent a good time talking and laughing with our classmates.
In the afternoon, I didn't do much. I spent my time resting at home and finish some homework.
Thursday was a day of varied classes. We started with English again, where we continued to review adjectives and practice with more complex examples. After English, we had History, where we continued to look at the greek and roman civilization. In Spanish class, we learned more expressions and discussed our cultural differences, which is always interesting because I see how Spanish is perceived in other countries.
At noon, instead of eating at school, my friends invited me to go to McDonald's. After lunch, we went back to school for the last class of the day, French. It was a pretty boring class, as there are sometimes the classes last 1h30.
Friday started at the CDI, where I took the opportunity to get organized and review some assignments, and talk also with the other Spaniards. I also took a photo with them, as we wanted to have some memories together. The next class was SVT (Sciences de la Vie et de la Terre), where we looked at genetic alterations. It was quite interesting, especially since we did a pair project on how they could turn a mouse fluorescent green. After SVT, we had physics, a technical but always useful class. Then French, and finally history.
In the afternoon, after class, I went to a poke place for dinner, something fresh and light. The funny thing is that, next to the restaurant, there was a small shop with Mediterranean products, and it turned out that there was a tasting! I tried some very curious things, including a fish roe paste that was extremely salty and harissa, a spicy paste. It was an unexpected experience, but really interesting.
